Yogourmet yogurt starter is meticulously manufactured and scientifically balanced to ensure that you make a smooth, creamy and great tasting yogurt every time. The starter, when used with the Yogourmet Multi yogurt maker, produces delicious yogurt in only 4 1/2 hours. Yogourmet yogurt starter is packed in sealed, double-layered envelopes for long-lasting quality. Yogourmet yogurt starter is available in boxes of 3 envelopes of 2 X 5 grams. Each envelope makes 2 litres of yogurt. Envelopes are divided in two sections of 5 grams to allow you to prepare only one litre at a time if desired.

Other Ingredients: Skim milk powder, sucrose, ascorbic acid, lactic bacteria (L.bulgaricus, S.thermophilus, L.acidophilus).
Directions for use:
Use 5 g of starter per litre or quart of milk.
1. Heat one litre or quart of milk to 82 deg C (180 deg F) or bring to boiling point. Then let cool down to 42-44 deg C (108-112 deg F).
2. Dissolve 5 g of starter with a small quantity of lukewarm milk in a cup, then pour back into the litre or quart of milk. Mix well.
3. Incubate 4 to 4 1/2 hours, or until yogurt has reached the desired firmness. May be used with any make of appliance, according to instructions. For best results, use a Yogourmet yogurt maker.
4. Refrigerate to stop incubation.
For Creme Bulgare follow the same instructions as for yogurt, using cream instead of milk.
